Get ready for a summer of creativity and sustainability at our Upcycled Creations Summer Camp! This camp offers a fantastic opportunity to learn how to transform everyday materials into new, useful, and exciting creations.
Camp Highlights:
Hands-On Projects: Campers will dive into hands-on projects where they will learn to make a variety of items using upcycled materials. From stylish bags and fun outdoor games to unique garden decor, each project encourages creativity and resourcefulness.
Make Your Own Paper: A special highlight of the camp will be the chance to make their own paper! Campers will learn the art of paper-making using recycled materials, which they can then use for their projects, adding a personal touch to their creations.
Sustainability Education: Through engaging activities, campers will discover the importance of sustainability and how upcycling helps reduce waste. They will learn about the environmental impact of their creations and how they can contribute to a greener planet.
Creative Workshops: Each day features workshops where campers will explore different crafting techniques. They will work with materials like old fabrics, plastic bottles, bags, cardboard, and more to create their masterpieces.
Outdoor Fun: Campers will not only create indoors but also enjoy outdoor activities using their upcycled creations! Whether it’s playing games made from repurposed materials or decorating outdoor spaces, the fun continues outside.
Showcase Event: At the end of the camp, there will be a showcase event where campers can display their projects to family and friends. This celebration will highlight their hard work and creativity, inspiring others to see the value in upcycling.
Enrichment and Sports Camps are refundable, less a non-refundable deposit of $25 through May 15, 2025. Camps are non-refundable after May 15th.
