June 2 - June 5 (MONDAY-THURSDAY)
12:30PM - 3:30PM
Instructor: Kristen Kirschner
Entering Grades: 5th - 9th
In this four-day hands-on workshop, campers will learn to use fabric, yarn, dye, raw wool, and recycled materials to create an array of finished projects that are both fun and functional. Techniques that will be explored include wet felting, needle felting, basic hand embroidery, crochet, batik, tie-dye, and screen printing. The price of the camp includes all materials needed to complete daily projects, as well as a personal sewing kit for campers to keep so they can continue creating at home! Because of the hands-on nature of the projects, space is limited to 12 campers. Return campers encouraged! New projects/skills are introduced every summer.
